I was born and raised in the northwest corner of Kansas on the southern border of Nebraska. I still own the house and a small piece of the farm that my Father and his parents moved into in 1933. I grew up on that alfalfa farm, playing outside, riding horses and listing to the old farmers chat about the weather, crops, cattle and money. My parents instilled in me a love of the land and animals. That love has grown as I have grown. As an adult I lived in several different parts of the country but returned to my roots when my parents needed me. I continue to enjoy my horses and these days I try to pass that love to my granddaughters. I worked in the insurance industry for seventeen years before taking a break and working in other fields. I came back to insurance and began working at Linda Maiden's State Farm just a few months ago. I had forgotten the satisfaction of being able to help people protect the things and people they love and have worked so hard for. I have been a customer of State Farm for almost as long as I can remember, and now have the honor of working for the company that I have come to respect.
