Linda Maiden

Having lived all over and settled down in Southwest Nebraska with my young daughter, I see what our small town has to offer and how we take care of each other. Which is why I love what I do. I get to play a huge part in making sure everyone in our community is protected like they should be! I have worked for Linda Maiden’s agency for 9 years and look forward to many more. Staying active in this wonderful area is a real joy and an important part of our agency. I am active in the McCook and Cambridge Chamber and on the board for Old Settlers in Indianola. My daughter is the most important thing to me and I know that your family is to you as well, so stop in and sit down with me so I can make sure you have everything you need for your family!  I was born and raised in the northwest corner of Kansas on the southern border of Nebraska.  I  still own the house and a small piece of the farm that my Father and his parents moved into in 1933.  I grew up on that alfalfa farm, playing outside, riding horses and listing to the old farmers chat about the weather, crops, cattle and money.  My parents instilled in me a love of the land and animals.  That love has grown as I have grown.  As an adult I lived in several different parts of the country but returned to my roots when my parents needed me.  I continue to enjoy my horses and these days I try to pass that love to my granddaughters.  I worked in the insurance industry for seventeen years before taking a break and working in other fields.  I came back to insurance and began working at Linda Maiden's State Farm just a few months ago.  I  had forgotten the satisfaction of being able to help people protect the things and people they love and have worked so hard for.  I have been a customer of State Farm for almost as long as I can remember, and now have the honor of working for the company that I have come to respect.

Being born and raised right here in Southwest Nebraska, I’ve always loved helping people and learning new things. I even started my little family here and got a few pets along the way. I enjoy being outside, spending time with my boys, and gardening. I have managed to travel some after graduating from high school here, thanks to being a military spouse. I’ve really enjoyed watching as our communities grow and change so much, just like most of our needs do over time. Whether it’s having a family and settling down like myself, or enjoying life as it comes, I hope I can be there to answer questions you might have along the way!
