Linda Maiden

Having lived all over and settled down in Southwest Nebraska with my young daughter, I see what our small town has to offer and how we take care of each other. Which is why I love what I do. I get to play a huge part in making sure everyone in our community is protected like they should be! I have worked for Linda Maiden’s agency for 9 years and look forward to many more. Staying active in this wonderful area is a real joy and an important part of our agency. I am active in the McCook and Cambridge Chamber and on the board for Old Settlers in Indianola. My daughter is the most important thing to me and I know that your family is to you as well, so stop in and sit down with me so I can make sure you have everything you need for your family!  I was born and raised in the northwest corner of Kansas on the southern border of Nebraska.  I  still own the house and a small piece of the farm that my Father and his parents moved into in 1933.  I grew up on that alfalfa farm, playing outside, riding horses and listing to the old farmers chat about the weather, crops, cattle and money.  My parents instilled in me a love of the land and animals.  That love has grown as I have grown.  As an adult I lived in several different parts of the country but returned to my roots when my parents needed me.  I continue to enjoy my horses and these days I try to pass that love to my granddaughters.  I worked in the insurance industry for seventeen years before taking a break and working in other fields.  I came back to insurance and began working at Linda Maiden's State Farm just a few months ago.  I  had forgotten the satisfaction of being able to help people protect the things and people they love and have worked so hard for.  I have been a customer of State Farm for almost as long as I can remember, and now have the honor of working for the company that I have come to respect.

I was born in Boulder, Colorado, but my family moved to Nebraska in 1997, right before I started first grade. I love animals, the mountains, reading, and iced coffee. I am a singer/songwriter and spend most of my time humming along to the radio or the music that is constantly playing in my head (most often Taylor Swift). I have a dog, Murphy; a cat, Daphne; and a few plants that are somehow still holding on. I believe my affinity for taking care of people can translate well in the insurance field, as we work to prepare you for all of life’s little (and big!) messes. Having mostly grown up in and around this community, I hope to be a friendly face for all your insurance needs!
